Mosima Letsoalo offers a wide range of psychotherapeutic services to individuals, couples, families and groups. Her services also include psychological assessments. Mosima Letsoalo’s area of focus is psychotherapy ranging from all psychological conditions including anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, trauma, bereavement, etc. She has an interest in working with adults and adolescents with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. She is eclectic in her approaches to psychotherapy as she has been exposed to various context and different clientele. Her interest in psychotherapy is broad and her interventions are determined by client’s needs.

Mosima Letsoalo has completed her undergraduate BSc degree from the University of Limpopo (Medunsa) currently known as Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU). She further completed her BSc Honours in Psychology and currently holds a MSc Clinical Psychology degree from the same institution. Moreover, Mosima Letsoalo completed a BPsych Equivalent Psychometry programme with the University of Johannesburg.

Experience

Mosima Letsoalo completed her internship at Mankweng/Polokwane Hospital Complex wherein she was providing mental health care services, which involved individual psychotherapeutic work, couples and group work and psychometric testing. Mosima was exposed to wide range of mental illnesses ranging from acute and chronic mental illness in both adults and children. As part of her internship, she also worked in psychiatric context at the Child and family unit in Mankweng hospital. Furthermore, Mosima provided psychological services including trauma debriefing and counselling to victims of sexual assaults at the Thuthuzela Care Centre (TCC) in Mankweng hospital

Mosima Letsoalo completed her community service at Department of Correctional Service, wherein she was responsible for providing psychological (individual and group therapy) service to both male and female offenders. She was also responsible for conducting risk assessment for offenders eligible for parole for the correctional supervision and parole board. Currently Mosima Letsoalo is a clinical psychologist in private practice.
